15 Recipes to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (2024)

September 15 to October 15 is recognized as National Hispanic Heritage Month (NHHM). Since 1968, we have celebrated the history, culture, and contributions of Latin American citizens who came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. September 15 not only is the start of NHHM, but also commemorates Independence Days in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua; while September 16 marks Mexico's independence from Spain, and Chile celebrates independence from Spain on September 18.

We are proud to celebrate the contributions of Latinx individuals, communities, and all cultures during this timeframe. And what better way to do that than through a few of our favorite Hispanic-inspired recipes? We're sharing some of our ultimate favorite recipes and links to shop our most-loved Hispanic ingredients. Did we mention we included our highly-rated Instant Pot Pork Tamale recipe?
