passed away in his home on Wednesday December 16, 1998. His family was at his bedside. He was born September 24, 1915 in Spring Lake, WI, the son of Emil and Ellen Nickelson. Mr. Nickelson grew up in Ludington, MI graduating from Ludington High School.

He attended Mason County Normal, University of Michigan Extension and LaSalle Extension University. In 1941, he began a 39 year career with A.C. Nielsen Company, a Fortune 500 company in Chicago, IL. He retired February 1980 in the position of Executive Vice President and Director of their Marketing Research Department. Throughout his business career, Mr.

Nickelson was listed in "Who's Who in "Who's Who In and "Who's Who in Business" He was a member of the American Marketing Association and Lion's Club. On December 26, 1941, he married Ruth Gertrude Faust of McKenzie, TN. She survives, also surviving is their daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Michael Dunn; one grandson and his wife, Terence and Kristin Dunn; one granddaughter, Kathleen Dunn; and one great granddaughter, Victor Dunn, all of Lawrence, KS: other surviving family members include one sister Gladys Kilgore, Dearborn, MI, and three brothers Howard Nickelson, William Nickelson and Archie Paul, all of Ludington, MI. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Highland Park in Highland Park, IL and the United Methodist Church of Ludington, MI. Cremation to be in Ft.
