Effingham County High School has provided me with opportunities in academics and athletics. I struggled with reading and writing as a high school student and I have had great teachers who have challenged me to improve. Also, in my experience, teachers have been great about coming in early and staying late to help me with concepts or an activity that was challenging. Being a student athlete, the teachers really worked with me and supported my efforts on and off the field or court.

Even though, I am not a full-time student at Effingham County High School, as I also attend the Effingham College and Career Academy, I have had my fair share of experiences at this school. I have not taken any educational classes at this school, but I have been a part of the athletics program with things such as the Competition Cheerleading Team, Game Cheerleading Team, and the Track and Field Team. Being a part of these programs at this school has been an amazing experience all four years as well as brought me many opportunities, therefore I will always be grateful to this school and coaches for putting their hard work into me.

Effingham County High School is my base school. I actually go to the STEM Program at Effingham College and Career Academy, but I go to this school for my last two periods. This school is definitely chaotic and sometimes not so good, but it is much better than a lot of schools. Our education is pretty high up there, but compared to the STEM program, I can't really say how they are compared to the base school. STEM is inherently harder than Effingham County High School, so I'm not much to clarify.
