A recap of all the Spelling Bee puzzles from the last year.

Every Single Pangram of 2022 (Published 2023) (1)

Hi busy bees! From ACRONYM to WIZARDRY, it’s been a great year for the Spelling Bee, and by extension, the Hive mind. We loved reading all your hints, whether they were clues, poems, song lyrics, riddles, stories or so many other forms I don’t have space to list.

We started using community photos as the header art for each forum in 2022. When we were thinking of doing this, one member of our team asked, “How many solvers are willing to get that close to bees?” We learned the answer pretty quickly, with hundreds of you sending in photos within the first two weeks. So far, we’ve received more than 6,000 submissions, and that number grows every day. I choose the photo for each forum, and I want to say, on behalf of the Gameplay team, thank you so much to everyone who has submitted one.

You probably figured this out from the headline, but this is a list of all the pangrams we ran last year. You can click each word to see its definition, with one small caveat. While the Spelling Bee uses its own dictionary, which has been painstakingly crafted over years of trial and error by our puzzle editors from many different parent dictionaries, articles default to just one: Webster’s New World College Dictionary, which, while expansive, doesn’t quite cover 100 percent of the pangrams in the Spelling Bee. We’ve linked to definitions from Webster’s where possible, but a few of them may be missing or incomplete.

And now, without further ado, the list. How many pangrams did you find? Which one was your favorite? Tell us in the comments, or email us.

The center letter of each set is always the leftmost letter and is in bold.

Jan. 1: C A M N O R Y | Pangram: ACRONYM, MONOCRACY

Jan. 2: A D K L O R W | Pangram: WORKLOAD

Jan. 3: T F I M O R Y | Pangram: MORTIFY
