A shrub is a vinegar that's been infused with fruits and herbs. We use a very traditional recipe in the making of our shrubs. We use the highest quality organic apple cider vinegar, organic fruits and herbs, and organic honey from one of the oldest honeybee farms in the state of Colorado.

Lower blood sugar levels

Drinking apple cider vinegar before a high carbohydratemeal improves insulin sensitivity,slowing the rate of blood sugarlevels rising in people who are insulin resistant (a pre-diabetes condition) or havetype-2 diabetes, according to a 2004 study. The researchers note that vinegar maypossess physiological effects similar to the anti-diabetes medications acarbose andmetformin.

Protects heart health

Balsamic vinegar prevents the oxidation of low-densitylipoprotein (LDL), which is believed to contribute to atherosclerosis,a condition inwhich plaque builds up in the arteries, blocking blood flow and in some cases,eventually leading to a heart attack or stroke, according to a 2010 study.

Weight loss
