The very fine print buried in the lower left corner: “*Calorie counts are per serving, 4 servings per cookie.” Who are you trying to fool, Crumbl?
How many calories are in a Crumbl Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie
In fact, each cookie has 720 calories—far more than a McDonald’s Big Mac (590 calories). It’s about as much as a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese (740 calories).
Each Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie also has a full day’s worth of saturated fat (20 grams) and 28 grams of added sugar (equal to 6½ teaspoons). That’s more than half a day’s added sugar.
How much sugar is in a Crumbl Classic Pink Sugar Cookie
The Crumbl Classic Pink Sugar Cookie’s first ingredient is powdered sugar. So each cookie has 76 grams (18 teaspoons) of added sugar—about 1½ times a day’s max. That comes with a hefty 16 grams of saturated fat and 760 calories.
As for Crumbl’s other flavors, they rotate weekly. But judging by recent menus, most are in the same ballpark: roughly 700 to 800 calories apiece. (Crumbl's cookies are about4½ to 5 inches in diameter.)
“Since opening its doors three years ago, Crumbl has expanded to over 600+ bakeries in 47 states nationwide, making it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation,” boasts the chain’s website.
With all that success, you’d think Crumbl wouldn’t need to hide its calories.
