According to reports via the Tasting Table, the rules for the new Super Bowl drinking game are “simple” and yet based around 20 potential activities that could happen during the event.
The rules, which involve taking a sip, finishing your drink, or knocking back a shot, all depend upon the scenarios that unfold during the game, but each are topical for this year in particular.

- The team you’re rooting against gets a penalty.

- A player on the sidelines is shown drinking or eating.
Finish your drink if…
- Either team misses a field goal.

The rules, which are designed to assist in the atmosphere of the Super Bowl for fans that may even be watching at home, can be followed with a choice of alcoholic or soft drinks depending upon preference. Drinks rules can also be substituted for food or snacks consumed during the game if watching as a family.
