Valued Retail Partners, I am very excited to finally announce that Botanicare has agreed to be acquired by Hawthorne Hydroponics. As many of you may know this year marks Botanicare's 20th anniversary and with that milestone came a time of reflection.

We process minerals and salts after they are mined to deliver liquid fertilizers that are immediately accessible as food for your plant roots and which run clean without clogging hydroponic equipment. Many of our products also contain organic compounds in addition to minerals.

Grow and Bloom are formulated with a blend of organic and natural materials that provide plant available nutrients. Some of these nutrients can be taken up immediately by the plant when applied, which promotes initial growth.

When growing plants with reverse osmosis water or in coco media use a minimum of 5 ml of Cal-Mag Plus during the first 2 weeks. For best results, foliar feed plants weekly with 7 ml/gallon of Pure Blend Tea or with Liquid Karma at 10-15 ml/gallon.

This formula provides the additional phosphorus and nutrients for blooming, fruiting and flowering plants while also feeding the microorganisms. Pure Blend Pro includes a blend of natural minerals and organic extracts plus the essential macro and micro nutrients your plants need.

Can I burn my plants using too much Hydroguard? No: Hydroguard will not burn plants.

The product is good for 2 years AFTER the date on the bottle. Use within 6 months of opening.

Some of these elements can be hazardous to your health if ingested in large quantities. However, hydroponic nutrients are not ingested, but are rather dissolved throughout the plant. Micronutrients are critical to plant growth, but are safe for humans.

Basic Nutrients Used In Hydroponics

The three main basic nutrients (macronutrients) used in hydroponics are nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, also known as NPK.
