How to answer tell us your story? ›

My encouragement is to take a moment to think about that question. Don't dive right into your factual self, but consider answering it with what it is you truly love and what makes you feel most alive.

Begin with a brief and engaging introduction that's going to set the tone for your answer. Mention basic information like your name and where you're from. Professional Background. Give an overview of your work history and highlight your most relevant experiences that align with the job you're applying for.

In THIS IS OUR STORY, five boys go on an early morning hunt after a late night of partying and drinking, but only four come out alive. Accident or not, the boys know the one who pulled the trigger could face jail time, so they make a pact in the woods—they won't tell who used the gun that killed their friend.

A good rule of thumb is to start in the action of the story – this will draw people in. From there, ask yourself if you'll tell your story in chronological order, or if you'll start at the end and find your way back to the beginning, or if you want tell it in a series of flashbacks instead of a linear structure.

When responding creatively to a short-story collection, you have a number of options. For example, you can draw on a specific moment in the text; re-tell an incident from a different point of view; describe what happens after the end of a story; or explore one of the recurring settings.

The formally correct response is to say the same words back: “How do you do?” You say this only on the first occasion that you meet the other person. When you meet them again you can say, “How are you?” to which the answer is “Fine/Well, thanks, and you?”

Instagram stories allow you to post photos or videos that automatically disappear within 24 hours. This feature includes the Reply option, which allows users to reply to your stories. Interview stories should be simple. The first, and most crucial step, is determining what the most important facts are. Then you must build a narrative that wraps the facts in an emotional context, something others will relate to. Use names and specific details to build an emotional connection.
