Daisy has a father who may be the king and also rule Sarasaland. However, she mentioned him in Mario Party 3 running off. Notably, Daisy mentions "Augh! I don't believe this! I've never lost - not even to my dad!"while losing in a minigame.

Even though Daisy is not aware or familiar with the Toad species, she has been described to be avid friends with Toadette. The two would garner different titles for being a tag team duo in the Mario Party games. In Mario Party 6, Daisy and Toadette were known as the Shopping Buddies, while in Mario Party 8, they were known as the Perfumed Shroomy. The two were also on the Peach Monarchs baseball team in Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers, having good chemistry in both titles respectively.
During the Ocean Tour event in Mario Kart Tour, both Daisy and Toadette were entrusted Sailor outfits.
Daisy has been described as very loyal and caring towards Toadette, while Toadette expresses just about the same sympathy towards Daisy, which makes their friendship constantly stable.
