Inspired by the ancient classic Russian caravan tea that got its smoky flavour from the old tea trade routes, and the caravans evening campfires along them.

This is a pinewood smoked Lapsang Souchong black tea. Blended with Formosa Oolong sourced from Taiwan & Mao Feng Keemun sourced from China.

How to make a hot tea

Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

Add 750ml cold water

Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

Tasty

The best Smoky tea around.

A firm favourite of mine.

Will not be buying any other smoked tea apart from this one. Another fantastic tea Bird and Blend Amazing.

Campfire Tea

I wasn't sure what I'd make of this one, but it is nice. I don't like the smell of the tea leaves themselves at all, but thankfully it's much more subtle once brewed. For me it's one I would only choose if I was in a very specific mood as smoky flavours are something I only tend to appreciate in moderation, but if you are a fan of smoky teas I think you will really enjoy it.

I think this would be a nice tea to drink outdoors as it really does capture the feeling of being by a campfire. I add a little milk and find while I drink it I mostly get the black tea flavour, and it's afterwards the smokiness comes through.
