I love a good cheese and charcuterie board. When Friday night hits, I usually whip one out and pair it with a good glass of wine, especially when it's chilly outside and I can't fathom leaving the house. (Wild, I know!) Recently I decided to share my love for staying in and planned a Blind Wine Tasting with a group of friends, but I realized my little cheese board just wasn't going to, um, cut it. I needed to go bigger, so I searched stores like Crate & Barrel, West Elm and even Amazon for a supersized option to. Bad news: Every pretty-looking cheese board seemed to cost at least 60 bucks. Then, I found this extra long one at Target for only $20 — so naturally, I bought two.

The long and narrow cheese board is perfect for sitting on a bar top, kitchen island or dining table, while allowing enough room for drinks, plates and other snacks.

Pinterest is full of extra large charcuterie board ideas that look mouth-wateringly gorgeous, so I decided to put my artistry to the test. This board from Target's Threshold line is 28 inches long and 6 inches wide, which can accommodate the Mississippi of salami rivers. I could have gone with a wider board, however, I especially like that this one is narrow because even with all my friends sitting at my countertop, there's still room for all our plates and drinks.

At my party, I used one of these to hold meats and cheeses, and the other for serving the TikTok-viral Trader Joe's flatbread pizza. (If you haven't seen these yet, here's one TikToker's delicious recipe.) TJ's pre-made pizza crusts are 16 inches long and look arguably fancier when they're displayed on a wooden board.

That said, in addition to the its length, this cheeseboard is aesthetically pleasing with a dark woodgrain finish, and it's easy to transport, thanks to a handle. My friends noticed the board and complimented it, and one even said she thought it look so much more expensive than $20.

I'm not the only one a little obsessed with my extra-long meat and cheese board though. Target reviewers have given it a collective 4.8 out of 5 stars.

"Beautiful charcuterie board, especially for the price!" wrote one of them. "The length is perfect across an island!"

"Very pretty! Quality material at a great price," shared another,

Other fromage fanatics opted to share their love of this board."It was a housewarming gift! Very pretty! My friend loved it! Now I want one too!" said one generous shopper.

"This charcuterie or cheeseboard is AMAZING!" wrote another. "The size is perfect for entertainment, or just using as decor! Love it! Bought two more as gifts!"

When not using it to serve cheese, you could keep this pretty board out on your dining table and use it as the base of a centerpiece — put a vase of flowers, a candle and more on top for decoration. Or, you know, go play a game of cricket.

If you're looking for an even longer cheese board, Target also sells a popular . It's nine inches wide and you can choose between a light or dark wood grain. It's a not-particularly-cheap $40, but here's some perspective: Boards this size from Pottery Barn and other fancy home stores can go for anywhere from $70 to $200.

"The quality and size of this board is better than I was expecting," wrote one impressed shopper. "I love the natural color and finish of the wood and the double handles gives it character. It is large enough to fit a good variety of cheeses, meats, fruits, and sweets making it perfect for entertaining... Now I have a great excuse to buy more cheese!"

"Love this!" wrote another reviewer who uses it for more than cheese. "Perfectly fits three 12-inch pizzas on pizza night. Makes a great pancake or waffle board for breakfast, too. I use it way more than I thought I would."
