We've all had that daydream of quitting our job to live the van life, and this blue bus in Fort Payne, Alabama can help you make that dream come true, even if just for a week. This little forest oasis has a full kitchen and two sleeping areas, each with a queen bed. There are also two different deck areas, one on the ground level and one perched on top of the bus. Take note: There is no Wi-Fi or Internet connection so this might not be the ideal space for anyone who needs to work remotely. But, the lack of internet can be a plus if you're looking to totally disconnect from the outside world.

First things first: This tiny house has an indoor sauna — you don't have to trudge through the snow to get to it. It also fits a surprising number of people with a queen bed, two twin beds, a sofa bed and a floor mattress for a total of six sleeping spots. This makes it a great option for families since most tiny homes are made for only two people.

This studio cabin is exactly as advertised: a cabin in the woods. It's located on 60 acres of woodlands perfect for hiking, trail walking and even gorge scrambling. (Don't forget your safety gear!) There's a natural wading pool off of the trails and the hosts say it's full of wildlife and foliage. Day trips can be made to the town of Mountain View, the Ozark Folk Center and the Blanchard Springs Caverns. There are two Queen beds in the cabin but keep in mind that it's a studio, so the sleeping space isn't private. The host notes that you should bring tick repellant if you plan on hiking and to not rely on map applications, as they're not always reliable. If you plan to bring your dog, they request you be cautious around the neighbor's chickens.

Constellation Creek offers an enchanting view of starry night skies above the Sierra Nevada mountains. With one Queen bed, Little Bear Cabin in Sierraville, California is a perfect stay for a couple or close friends to get away for the weekend and disconnect. Outside there's a charcoal grill and a fire pit outside for s'mores. There's no Wi-Fi and the cell signal is spotty, so this is a truly unplugged stay. The host does note that the water on the property is fed by a spring, so guests need to bring their own water for drinking and cooking.

Most tiny homes are more secluded, off-the-grid stays, so if you're looking for something in the middle of a downtown area, check out this tiny house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. You've got beach access too; it's only a 10-minute walk from the house to the boardwalk. There's a futon in the loft that can be used as a bed in addition to the primary Murphy bed. The host warns that the ladder to the loft has to be moved when the Murphy bed is down, so the loft might not be ideal for night sleeping. It sounds perfect for naps, though.
