Red Velvet Cookie, also known as HellHound is a major antagonist and playable character in the 2021 Korean gacha game Cookie Run: Kingdom. First appearing in the Story Mode, Episode 10: Timeless Kingdom as a minor antagonist and the Tower of Sweet Chaos event story as the main antagonist. he also appears as one of the secondary antagonists in the Braver Together event.
He is a servant of Dark Enchantress Cookie who is in charge of leading his army of Cake Monsters into battle. In truth, he cares about the lives of the Cake Monsters and joined her under the belief that she would create a world where creatures can live equally amongst Cookies.
He is voiced by Pyo Yeong-Jae in Korean, Toshihiko Seki in the Japanese dub (who also voiced Muzan Kibutsuji from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Rau Le Creuset from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Il Dottore from Genshin Impact) Max Mittelman in the English dub.

Red Velvet Cookie is a fierce, intimidating leader who commands his army of Cake Monsters, but beneath his aggressive exterior he is very caring and fatherly towards the Cakes, showing genuine affection and concern towards their lives. He even gives the ones he likes most names like Chiffon and Cakeberus. He felt sympathy towards their subhuman treatment by Cookiekind and the Witches, so he joined Dark Enchantress Cookie under the promise that she will build a world where they are equal. He also laments the fates of the Cakes who are unable to survive outside the oven. Red Velvet Cookie's ideology also made an impact towards the zealous Pastry Cookie, whom he (understandably) called out for taking lives which she deemed unimportant and him comforting Chiffon as he was wounded shook her ideals. In short, Red Velvet Cookie is an anti-villain with a humane and egalitarian philosophy, but ended up being considered "evil" by both the heroes and holy weaponry due to his genuine beliefs towards the side of darkness.
Biography[]
Red Velvet Cookie was baked in the oven of the Tower of Sweet Chaos. As a young Cookie, he grew to see Cake Monsters as more than mere creatures, but lost his right arm. He eventually met Dark Enchantress Cookie, who gave him the arm of a Cake Monster to be one with his true brethren, then recruited him as one of her servants, promising a world where Cookies and Cakes can be equal.
Red Velvet Cookie was in charge of overseeing the production of Cake Monsters, where he would lead them into battle to attack any Cookie who opposed his master's rule. He eventually met Pastry Cookie, whom battled against him and left him wounded. Pastry told him that her Fork of Judgment would harm evil, but Red Velvet was approached by a concerned Cake Hound named Chiffon, whom he comforted even as he lay wounded. Pastry Cookie believed that there was still humanity within him, but he brushed her off as he was no different to the monsters she blindly killed, serving as the catalyst to Pastry Cookie beginning to doubt the ideals she was taught, which would break further as she progressed through the castle.
