It seems like yesterday when I packed my bags & made my way towards a new city to experience the much anticipated 'college life'.My initial days were full of intros, lectures and labs till life sciences hit us with practicals and assignments. It was both enjoyable and tedious: enjoyable as we'd perform interesting experiments and unleash our inner scientists in the labs, tedious as we had to make 200 pages worth of practical files for mere 10 marks. Of course, there was the cliché incident of somebody knocking over & breaking a bottle of acid!Fast forward to the induction process of societies that consisted of filling up google forms, GD's and interviews. It certainly was a challenging experience, having to channel my creative self within a time limit.Without giving us room to breathe came what every DU student dreads: deadlines, practical exams and vivas. In comparison, theory exams felt like a breeze! Much to our annoyance, they lasted for about a month.Surprisingly enough, the first semester is over already and it's time for the next one! The most important lesson I've learnt is to live life to the fullest by enjoying with friends and family. Now I'm more than ready for a round 2 of this rollercoaster ride!Long story short, I survived :) (P.S.-Did anyone get the reference?)

It's summer guys!It means this is the time to begin preparing your application documents.Graduate school application documents are essential for anyone aspiring to pursue higher education after completing their bachelor’s degree. These documents are carefully scrutinized by the admissions committee, and they play a significant role in determining whether the applicant is eligible for admission. The most critical document is undoubtedly the Statement of Purpose. This essay is a candidate's opportunity to showcase their academic and personal achievements and convince the admissions committee why they are the best candidate for the program. The Statement of Purpose should detail the candidate's intended area of study, research interests, career goals, and how this program will help them achieve their aspirations. It also serves as a reflection of the candidate's writing skills and ability to articulate their thoughts.Transcripts are also an essential component of the graduate school application, as they provide evidence of the academic achievements the candidate has accomplished. Candidates should ensure that they have a strong academic record in relevant courses with good grades. Finally, recommendation letters play a crucial role in the application process. They demonstrate the candidate's academic and personal qualities, such as intellectual abilities, commitment to learning, and professionalism. It is best to choose recommenders who know the candidate well and can provide a detailed account of their accomplishments. In conclusion, the graduate school application documents, if prepared well, can enable a candidate to stand out among other applicants and increase their chances of being admitted into their desired program. It is essential to follow the application guidelines and ensure that all documents are free of errors. To learn more about the documents kindly go to www.youtube.come/@theshafiqabassDon't forget to leave a comment or two.
